Pakistan have dropped wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal and rested a number of players for the limited overs leg of their upcoming tour of the West Indies.
Despite Pakistan's progress to the semi-finals of the World Cup, Akmal had far from an impressive tournament and 29-year-old uncapped 'keeper Mohammad Salman will take his place behind the stumps.
Selector Mohsin Khan told media in Pakistan that Akmal's wicket-keeping was 'not up to the mark' during the World Cup while bet365 make them 6/1 chances to win the World Cup in 2015.
Senior players Razzaq, Younus Khan and Umar Gul have also been given a rest as uncapped Usman Salahuddin, Hammad Azam and Aizaz Cheema have been called up.
The two sides play a Twenty20 International on 21st April before a series of five One-Day Internationals and two Tests. The Test squad will be named at a later date.
Salman is a veteran of 103 first-class matches, 76 one-day games and 30 Twenty20 matches, scoring two centuries and nine half-centuries in one-day cricket.
Former Under-19 international Salahuddin has just nine one-day games under his belt and a highest score of 74 not out and has yet to play a Twenty20 International.
All-rounder Hammad Azam, who bowls medium pace and is also a former Under-19 player, has played 21 one-day games, averaging 35.93 with the bat and 47.55 with the ball while medium-fast bowler Aizaz Cheema has played 30 one-day games in a career that began back in 2001/2. He was, however, a member of the Pakistan squad which claimed a bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Games.
Although left-arm quick Junaid Khan is yet to make an international appearance, he wa a member of Pakistan's World Cup squad, replacing Sohail Tanvir.
