The 32 teams would be divided into eight groups of four teams in each group, and two teams from each group would qualify for knock-out stages. A total of 63 matches would be played during the event.
The tournament carries a lucrative prize purse of Rs2 million, where the winners would bag 1 million and the runner-up would cash half a million rupees. The remaining half a million would be given to best players of the event.
