The World Cup is over, Indians are the undisputed Champions of the World and will continue to rule the cricketing world for the next 4 years when again the top teams will battle it out for the glory in Australia\New Zealand.India started their campaign nervously tied against the English than lost an unexpected match against the Saffas (who unfortunately were good for nothing). But once through to the quarter-finals they got as consistent as Pakistan's inconsistency. Beating Australia, Pakistan and Srilanka in consecutive matches ain't no joke!
With everything done and dusted, there is no issue left but one. WAS SACHIN TENDULKAR NOT OUT ???
these are the deliveries that Saeed Ajmal bowled to Sachin Tendulkar with the ball on which he looked PLUMB, the whole universe admitted it, umpire gave it out, but it was reviewed to know that the third umpire had other plans...!
Ajmal to Gambhir and Tendulkar:
first three balls were bowled to Gambhir, one of those being wide, remaining four deliveries were bowled to Tendulkar: the yellow one, green one (controversial one), orange and light blue. It is obvious from the hawk eye that the green one is the only ball that has turned more than any other. For that purpose lets have a look at the hawk eye predictions from another abgle:
it is easily cleared from the thehat the green ball has bent more than any other. If we compare the ball trajectories of green and yellow delivery, we can observe that they are almost the same type of deliveries but still the green one turns more then the yellow one. What makes the debate even more interesting is the fact that Saeed Ajmal is not a big turner of the ball, if it would have been Swann it would have been understandable, also Saeed (don't know if true or not) claimed that h bowled an arm ball - which doesn't swings as much as the general off-spinner. To end the debate lets look through another angle which will make it clear that the green ball has bent (unusually) more than the other balls specially if compared to the yellow delivery:
The point I want to make here is not against India nor I deny India as the World Champions but the question is ''are the Indians deserving Champions?'' (I really really hope they are!) I hope you guys like my viewpoint and the deductions I have made...!
