Shane Warne reveals proudest moment of his life

Shane Warne reveals proudest moment of his life
The legendary Australia leg-spinner, Shane Warne has said that the proudest moment of his life was when he saw his name on the big screen of the historic Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on the first day of his international debut.
The 41-year old Victoria spinner, who made his Test debut on 2 January, 1992, against India at SCG, said that he experienced the proudest moment of his life when he walked out at the SCG on the eve of January 2, 1992, and the big screen in the stadium flashed:
"Congratulations to Shane Warne, Australia's 350th Test cricketer".
Asked about the finest moment of his life, the leg-spin prodigy of International cricket said that it was the moment when they had won the Ashes urn the next year of his international debut, the 1993 Ashes series, which Australia won 4-1.
However, his biggest regret was Australia’s failure to beat West Indies at the Adelaide during their 1992-93 tour of Australia. Reminiscing his first ever series against the then best cricketing team in the World, West Indies, Warne said that it was a “cracking series” for him.
"We were just two runs short of victory when Courtney Walsh got Craig McDermott to nick one through to the keeper”, said the prolific Test spinner, while talking to the media reporters after playing his last game of his IPL career against Mumbai Indians.
“And then his great mate Curtly Ambrose rolled us at Perth. I think he took seven wickets for one run at one point. That was a cracking series though", he added.
Warne made his Test debut in January 1992, against India, and went on to play 145 Test matches before bidding farewell to the Test cricket in 2007. His last appearance was against England at Sydney Cricket Ground. In his 145 Test appearances, he picked up 708 wickets at an average of 25.41 and an economy rate of 2.65.
The right-arm leg-break googly specialist debuted in the One Day format of the game in March 1993, against New Zealand, and claimed 293 scalps from 194 One Day International appearances.
