Mahendra Singh Dhoni should not be judged over the defeat against England

The show is not over yet, Mahendra Singh Dhoni should not be judged over the defeat against England - Opinion
What is the definition of a successful cricket Captain? If somebody wants to know the answer of this simple question, then just look at Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who led India to the historic World Cup triumph.
There is nothing more prestigious for a Captain to accomplish than winning the biggest cricketing event and Dhoni is the lucky man who did it.
Winning the showpiece event is something one can only dream of achieving in lifetime. Amongst the winners of the competition, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh could be seen alongisde others, crying with joy.
Hats off to MS Dhoni, who took the pressure at a critical situation in the final game of the World Cup and brought the trophy home after a long period of 28 years. One could remember India's ultimate contest against Sri Lanka, where Dhoni sprang a surprise by including erratic pacer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth in the playing XI.
The skipper further shocked everyone by promoting himself up in the order in place of in-form Yuvraj Singh, while India was chasing Sri Lanka’s decent total of 274.
Dhoni had confidence on him and due to that, the two of the gambles paid off.  Dhoni hit a match winning innings to script India’s six-wicket triumph against the Lankan Lions.
Sachin Tendulkar, one of the greatest batsmen this World has ever seen, acknowledged Dhoni as “the best captain I have played under."
Sourav Ganguly stated about Dhoni, "There can't be any doubt about it. Dhoni is the greatest captain of our country. His record is proof of that."
"His batting has shown some good signs. As captain, in a hyper-charged Indian environment, he keeps things nice and calm," said Sanjay Manjrekar about Dhoni.
Everyone lauded Dhoni, and that’s what he deserved for making such a huge contribution for the country. Dhoni XI brought smiles on more than one-billion people of India. He was under immense pressure to perform, and he lived up to the occasion and showed his class at the right time.
A cool and sound persona, The Ranchi-born is the man who sets trends for whole of his nation every time he chooses to change the way he looks. MS Dhoni has also captained the Indian team to glory at the 2007 T20 World Cup, where his side thrashed none other than traditional-rival, Pakistan.
The 30-year-old is famous for his big sixes but along with his aggressive batting, he is also a very sharp leader. As a captain, he has a shrewd mind with an uncanny ability to surprise the opposition. In his 186 ODIs, he has scored over 6,000 runs at an average of 48.78.
Should a player, who holds all these qualities, be judged over just one dismal performance? Of Course not, the party is not over yet, as the wicket-keeper has the potential to bounce and produce equally good results which he came up with in the past.
The guys, who termed him as the best Indian captain, are saying that Dhoni has failed to lift his side. It must not be the case, as every cricketer goes through lean patches and only best one comes out stronger. Dhoni has that knack, therefore, he must be given some time and support to regain his lost momentum.
