Saeed Ajmal ready to trouble England

Pakistan’s attacking off-spinner, Saeed Ajmal, has disclosed that he has been working on a new delivery that he will use to trouble England in the forthcoming Test series.
Pakistan is schedule to take on World’s No. 1 Test side at UAE early next year. After thrashing India, the Englishmen have set sights on producing equally outstanding results in their contests against Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
Yet, Ajmal has made clear that it will not be an easy campaign for the Poms, as he has developed a new weapon which will be good enough to knock England down.
“I didn’t bowl it in the World Cup because I wanted to stick with my best and most reliable deliveries in such a high profile tournament. I am saving it for the series against England,” said Ajmal.
The 33-year-old spinner is considered as a master of bowling Doosra which was firstly introduced by his senior fellow, Saqlain Mushtaq. Due to a suspected illegal bowling action while bowling Doosra, Ajmal came under scrutiny at the initial days of days.
However, he came out of the controversy strongly and impressed cricketing circles with his quality spin bowling during the last few years.  While the veteran leg-spinner, Danish Kaneria, is out of action following a Spot-fixing conflict, Ajmal is Pakistan’s key man in the spin department.
He had a great tour to West Indies recently, picking up 17 wickets in two matches. Talking about his success against the Windies, the off-spinner shared that he enjoyed bowling of Caribbean wickets which were helpful for spin bowling.
Meanwhile, he appreciated Mohammad Salman who did a fantastic job behind the stumps when the ball was spinning a great deal.
“Salman was able to do a great job. The wickets in the West Indies for the Tests were very difficult for wicketkeepers, as there was a lot of turn and bounce, but Salman did an excellent job. Adnan Akmal is also a very impressive and tidy wicketkeeper. These guys are very competent,” added the Faisalabad-born cricketer who completed his half-century of Test wickets on the West Indies tour.
