Pakistan women cricket team coach Mansoor Rana believes that
spinners will be the key in the series against West Indies that starts
from August 28 in Kingston.
Pakistan play four One-Day Internationals and four Twenty20s on the tour.
Rana, who is preparing the squad at a 10-day camp in Muridke, said
West Indies struggle against spin and therefore Saadia Yousuf, Bismah
Maroof, Nida Dar and Sana Mir will be the key for Pakistan.
“I think spinners will make a huge difference,” Rana told The Express
Tribune. “West Indies aren’t that good at in tackling spin and our
strategy is to score as many runs as possible and then leave it to the
spinners.
“Meanwhile, Nain Abidi has recovered from injury and her presence in the batting order strengthens our team.”
