The English all-rounder, Danielle Wyatt, has been called for the England Women national squad for the upcoming quadrangular series starting from June 30, 2011.
Matches including One-Day and Twenty20 formats are being scheduled this summer amongst 4 teams, Australia, New Zealand, India and England.
Wyatt has also been named for Westlands team to play the T20 contest against the Black Ferns, starting from June 23, at Bristol.
While talking to media the 20-year old player stated, "I was sweating over my place as there are a few players coming back into contention, it will be difficult to get into the teams, but all I can do is work hard on training days and take my chances when they come along, this summer is going to be tough because they are all top sides coming over."
Along with Wyatt, the wicket-keeper batter, Sarah Taylor, has also earned a call for a comeback.
The Lancashire batter, Arran Brindle, is also going to return after a five-year self-imposed exile from the International scene.
Wyatt made her One-Day-International (ODI) debut in 2010 against India. In her maiden game, she contributed 28 unbeaten runs down the order.
She has played 5 ODIs and has scored 66 runs, including the highest score of 30. In the bowling department, she has not taken any wicket as yet.
In T20 Internationals, Wyatt opened her account against Australia Women in 2010. She has featured in 15 games, scoring 106 runs, including the highest score of 27.
Her T20 bowling stats boast 13 wickets so far, with best figures of 4 for 11.
All the T20 matches will be broadcasted by Sky Sports live.
