Brett Lee feels lucky to have ties with Shah Rukh Khan

Brett Lee, the ace Australian pacer, considers himself fortunate enough to have friendship with the Bollywood star, Shah Rukh Khan. He is also confident about the success of his recently launched campaign to teach professional music to the unprivileged Indian children - an initiative that he considers to be social welfare and personal fondness at the same time.
Lee, who plays for Khan’s Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders, is in good terms with the top Indian film figure. Moreover, the pacer’s music works have brought him closer to The King Khan.
Along with being the pace master and legendry cricketer, Lee is also a professional singer having his own band which possess great name and fame in Australia.
During the IPL-4, which ended just two months back, Lee took an active part by playing guitar and singing songs for Khan’s mass campaign ‘Tension Mat Le’ (do not take tension) which was launched to garner the public support for the KKR team. Furthermore, he was also resplendent on the field as he took many wickets and steered the team to win some good matches.
Now, Lee is eager to work out and make successful his new project in India as he thinks that a large number of the Indian children have talent and urge to learn music.
Talking to the media, he said, “I see so many children inclined towards learning music in India but unfortunately they do not have the infrastructure. My entire campaign focuses on giving these underprivileged children a chance to learn music.”
He further told. “I have been fortunate enough to be friends with actor Shah Rukh Khan and his close friends and of course Preity Zinta has been a good friend all throughout but I don’t want to divert from the cause. This is about music and my initiative and I want to do it entirely my way.”
Lee, who made his International debut against India in 1999, has played 76 Tests, 205 ODIs and 21 T20Is so far, taking 310, 357 and 22 wickets in the three formats respectively. He is currently playing a bilateral series against Sri Lanka.
